About me

In the IT industry since the 1990s - today I combine web, video production and advanced deployments in the Apple environment.

I started with the fundamentals of systems like MS-DOS and Windows. Today I build modern websites on WordPress, produce video, work with macOS and support both companies and individual clients.

My journey

My journey in brief

  1. The 1990s - the first computers

That's when I began working with technology, learning the basics of systems and how computers work from the ground up - MS-DOS and Windows shaped my approach to technology and problem-solving.

  2. 2009 - I go with WordPress

I bet on WordPress at a time when it wasn't yet the obvious choice for serious projects - I saw its potential as a flexible CMS that in time became the standard of the modern web.

Since then I've been delivering projects on it tailored to clients' real needs, building websites that are scalable, fast and ready for further growth.

  3. Ksenior.pl - 10 million views

I had my own CMS, which I developed for the Ksenior project. At a certain point I decided to rewrite the entire platform on WordPress, keeping my own operating logic and content structure. The migration covered the system architecture, performance optimisation and the integration of advertising systems. After deployment, the platform reached over 10 million page views and became a stable foundation for developing online courses and content aimed at seniors.

  4. Today - web, video and PoProstuMac

Through PoProstuMac I run a technology channel that bridges the Apple and Windows environments. I create guides, tests and configurations, showing real-world uses - from running Windows on a Mac to performance optimisation. In parallel, I design modern websites based on WordPress and custom solutions, focusing on speed, modularity and scalability. I also produce films, reels and advertising campaigns - from short social media formats to larger brand and commercial productions. Just as in 2009 I backed WordPress, predicting its dominance, today I see another breakthrough in the way the web is built - a shift that has already begun. I tell more about how and why I made this decision later in my story.

Today in brief

I'm responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and deploying system solutions. I combine academic experience with project practice and a real-world working environment.

Collaboration

How do I work with clients?

  1. 1

    Conversation and diagnosis

I start by understanding your business goal. I analyse your needs, your audience and your current solutions in order to propose the right direction.

  2. 2

    Design and implementation

Based on what we agree, I prepare a concrete action plan. I build the solution and put it into practice, ensuring quality and stability.

  3. 3

    Support and development

After launch I don't disappear. I take care of updates, security and the further development of the project so that it runs stably and effectively for years.

About me

My name is Dariusz Niemczak. I've lived and breathed technology since childhood.

I combine web, WordPress, video and the Apple ecosystem. Over the years I've seen what works in practice - and what later needs rescuing after "cheap implementations". Below is a short story of where it all came from.

I was using my first computer at the age of six. Those were the days of MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, black-and-white monitors and 386 and 486 units. I grew up in an environment where computers weren't a curiosity - they were a working tool. Thanks to the family business, we had access to them earlier than most households in Poland. Even then I watched how technology genuinely changed the way companies operate.

As a teenager I repaired computers, installed operating systems and configured software. I worked comfortably in the first versions of Photoshop, Corel, Word and Excel. That passion quickly turned into my first paid jobs. Many of the clients I helped as a young boy I now serve as the owner of the ITAMA agency.

The internet from the start

I've lived through the entire evolution of the Polish internet - from the days of modems and static HTML pages to today's advanced systems based on WordPress and automation. I like solutions that are clear for the client, yet have solid architecture and order under the hood.

A breakthrough moment was creating the Ksenior.pl portal - an educational platform for seniors. The project grew out of a real need. While running computer training for the University of the Third Age, I needed a place to organise knowledge and streamline the teaching process.

I tried to interest public institutions in the idea. Without success. I built it myself. The portal reached over 10 million page views, started to make money and let me reinvest in technological development and further projects. That was the moment when passion became a business.

A strategic decision - WordPress

In 2009, when WordPress was seen mainly as a blogging system, I chose to back it. At a time when the market was split between Joomla, PHP-Fusion and custom-built solutions, I decided that WordPress would win. I moved all my own and my clients' projects over to it.

It was one of the most important decisions of my career. Today WordPress powers most of the world's websites and is the foundation of many of my projects. Thanks to a deep understanding of this ecosystem, I know how to build projects that are stable, scalable and resistant to common mistakes. I often get sites that need a thorough rebuild after ill-considered builds.

Technology + imagery + strategy

In parallel, I developed my skills in film and video production. I learned editing, visual storytelling and working with sound. Today I use this in advertising campaigns and brand communication on channels such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. I understand not only code and systems, but also the mechanics of the audience's attention.

Education and consulting

I also run the PoProstuMac technology channel, where I show that macOS isn't a complicated environment and, when well configured, can genuinely boost work efficiency. I run training and paid consultations on configuring Apple systems for companies and individual clients.

Builders - a necessary stage, not the future

Over time I reached for builders - tools that speed up building sites in WordPress. I tested Elementor, Oxygen, Breakdance, and most recently I worked with Bricks. They're solid tools and I still run some projects on them.

But the bigger the project, the more clearly their limits show: dependence on third-party plugins and licensing decisions, mounting bloat and a performance ceiling. I treat it as a necessary stage - not as a foundation for the years ahead.

The next breakthrough - I'm betting on AEO

Just as in 2009 I bet on WordPress before it became the obvious choice, today I see the next shift - and once again I'm getting into it earlier than the market.

More and more, people don't "google" - they ask artificial intelligence. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and AI answers in Google are becoming the first place a customer looks for a business. The winner isn't the one with the prettiest website, but the one whose site is the answer that AI recommends.

That's why I focus on AEO - optimisation for answer engines. These are sites built to be readable for AI: structured data, content in the form of real answers, lightning-fast loading and technical cleanliness. The result: the business appears where customers actually ask today.

I go a step further - I build it on my own lightweight engine, designed from scratch for AEO and performance. With no dependence on third-party builders, plugins or licences: full control, maximum speed and a website ready for how the internet looks today, not a decade ago.

This direction demands something more than stacking ready-made blocks - real programming. That's why I'm getting deeper into code: I develop my own applications (SaaS) and tools built for specific needs, instead of bending someone else's templates to fit.

Present

I work as an IT specialist at the University of Gdańsk and run the ITAMA interactive agency based in Gdynia. I combine a technical background, business experience and an understanding of brand communication. I create solutions that not only work - but support the real growth of businesses.

Technology changes constantly, which is why I never stop learning. Every few years I update my approach to design, deployment and communication online. I watch the trends, test tools and implement solutions that make business sense - not just what's fashionable.
