Premium hosting
Two hosting options to choose from: Premium for NEO Websites and classic for WordPress sites. Backups, SSL certificate and site migration included - from 250 zł net per year.
Value
My approach
The servers are looked after by Dariusz Niemczak from Gdynia - I run the hosting myself, so when a site goes down, the reply comes from the same person who built it.
I run two kinds of hosting, because sites vary: Premium hosting for NEO Websites and WordPress hosting for sites and stores built on WordPress. Which one makes sense for you depends on what your site is built on - below is a point-by-point comparison.
Which to choose
Premium or WordPress hosting?
I run both kinds of hosting myself, and both make sense. The choice mainly depends on what the site is built on - if you do not know what yours is built on, write to me and I will check it for you.
| Question | WordPress hosting | Premium hosting |
|---|---|---|
| For what kind of site? | For a site or store built on WordPress. | For a NEO Website. |
| How much does it cost? | 250 zł net per year. Paid plugins, if the site uses any, are paid for separately. | 400 zł net per year. With a new NEO Website, the first year is free. |
| Where does the site run? | On a proven, classic server. | On servers placed around the world - the visitor gets it from the nearest one. |
| Backups | Regular, included in the hosting price. | Daily, kept for 30 days, on a separate account. Photos every 6 hours. |
| SSL certificate (the padlock) | Included. | Included; it switches on and renews by itself. |
| What do you need to keep an eye on? | WordPress and plugin updates. If neglected, they can end in a break-in. | Nothing. There are no plugins to update. |
| Disk space | I match it to the size of the site and store. | You do not buy gigabytes. A single file can be up to 10 MB. |
Disk space
How much space does a site take up?
Less than you might think. The whole itama.pl website - nearly 40 pages in two languages, a guide and over 140 photos - takes up about 12 MB. As much as a few photos taken with a phone.
With Premium hosting the site does not sit in a folder on a single disk: the texts are in a database, and the photos in separate file storage. That is why you do not pick a package of gigabytes and do not pay extra as pages are added.
- Photos straight from your phone: The panel shrinks the photo on its own and saves it in a lightweight format before it goes on the site.
- Up to 10 MB per file: Enough for photos, price lists and PDF documents.
- Large file libraries: I quote hundreds of PDF documents or extensive catalogues separately - I tell you before we start, not after the fact.
- WordPress hosting: Here I match the server space to the size of the site and store.
Backups
Backups you can restore from
A backup is only worth something if the site can be restored from it. With Premium hosting it works like this:
- Site content - daily: I back up texts, pages and settings every day and keep the backups for 30 days. I can roll the site back to how it was a week or three weeks ago.
- Photos - every 6 hours: The photo backup only adds new files, so a photo deleted by mistake can be recovered.
- On a separate account: The backups sit on a different account from the site. A failure of one does not take the other down with it.
- Trash in the panel: You restore a deleted page yourself, with a single click, without waiting for me.
- WordPress hosting: Regular backups are part of the service, not a paid add-on.
Overview
How I move your site
- 1
I check what you have
What the site is built on, and where the domain and email are. Based on that, I propose Premium or WordPress hosting.
- 2
I set up the site in parallel
I get it running on the new hosting at a temporary address and check it before your customers see it.
- 3
I switch the address over
I set up the domain so that email keeps working without interruption and the site has an SSL certificate right away.
- 4
I keep an eye on things
After the migration I check the site and the forms. From then on, you write directly to me.
Frequently asked questions
How much does hosting cost?
WordPress hosting costs 250 zł net per year, and Premium hosting 400 zł net per year. With a new NEO Website, the first year of Premium hosting is free. You pay once a year, and backups, the SSL certificate and site migration are included in that price.
How much disk space will I get?
With Premium hosting you do not buy gigabytes: a single file can be up to 10 MB, and for comparison, the whole itama.pl site with photos takes up about 12 MB. With WordPress hosting I match the server space to the size of the site. I quote hundreds of PDF documents or large catalogues separately.
How often do you make backups?
With Premium hosting I back up the site content every day and keep the backups for 30 days, and the photos every 6 hours, on a separate account. With WordPress hosting, regular backups are part of the service.
Will you migrate my current site?
Yes. Migration is standard - I move the site, database, email and domain so that visitors don't notice any interruption. We only switch off the old hosting once the new one works flawlessly.
What about business email?
Email does not live on Premium hosting. It can stay with your current provider, or I move it to mailboxes that I run. Either way, I set up the domain so that messages keep arriving without interruption.
Do you help outside working hours?
Yes. Office hours are the time for questions, quotes and changes to the site. An outage is a separate matter: when the site stops working, write to me and I will deal with it outside those hours too.
I will check which hosting suits your site
Tell me where your site runs today and where your domain is. I will reply with which hosting makes sense and what it costs, before we touch anything.
