A desktop app should be fast, stable and pleasant to use - not just another website locked in a window. I build native programs that use the full power of the computer: they work locally, respond instantly and don't make you wait for a server on every click.
I'm not just a contractor - I create my own applications and ship them to people. That's why I know the whole cycle from the inside: from the first idea, through testing with real users, to updates and support long after launch.

The best proof of skill is your own products. I've built three apps I use every day in my work - and which, from 2027, I'm preparing for official distribution:
- CutNeo - a video editor with AI subtitles : professional editing of short-form video, with automatic subtitles and the cutting of silence and filler words. It works locally on Windows and macOS, with no uploading of footage to the cloud
- Itama WebShot - bulk website screenshots : takes full-page screenshots of many URLs at once, in a queue. Invaluable for audits, migrations and archiving sites - what takes hours by hand happens in the background
- Itama WP Center - a WordPress command center : managing many WordPress installations from one place: backups as immutable snapshots and a health overview of your sites, instead of logging into each one separately

How an app comes to life

Idea and research
I start from the problem, not the technology. I establish who the program is really for and what it's for, and check what existing solutions are missing.

Design and prototype
I design the flow and the interface and build a working prototype of the key feature. It's better to refine the direction early than to rewrite a finished program.

Native build
I write the app on a solid, native foundation (Rust + Tauri), shared across Windows and macOS. Performance and security are built into the architecture, not bolted on later.

Release and updates
I test on real data, ship and keep developing - with automatic updates. The program matures together with its users, rather than ending at launch.
Custom-built
A tailor-made application
Beyond my own products, I build custom desktop applications - most often internal tools that automate tedious, repetitive work in a company. If you do something by hand every day that a program could do, it can usually be wrapped in an app.

What do you build desktop apps on?
On a native foundation: a core in Rust, a shell in Tauri. That gives a small, fast program and a single codebase that produces both the Windows and the macOS version. No heavy tricks like a browser bolted onto the app - that's why my programs start fast and don't bog down the computer.
Windows or macOS?
Both - I build the Windows and macOS versions from a single source. I know the Apple ecosystem inside out: I work on macOS every day and run a channel about it called PoProstuMac. If you only care about one platform, that's no problem either.
Will you build a custom application?
Yes. Most often these are tools that automate repetitive work or do something that isn't on the market. We start with a conversation about the problem, then I design a prototype of the key feature - so you see the direction before the whole thing is built.
When can I buy CutNeo, WebShot or WP Center?

Is my data safe?
Yes. My applications process data locally, on your computer - they don't need to send files to the cloud to work. Privacy here is the default, not an option.
