Computer repair

I diagnose and solve real problems. Over 2,500 repairs and 500 data recoveries is experience that translates into results. I work with both individual clients and businesses, ensuring data security and system stability.

Value

My approach

I don't repair "by guesswork". Diagnosis first, then the decision. I don't replace parts if there's no need. I don't overcharge. More than 2,500 repairs have taught me that trust comes back to a workshop more often than the hardware does. I treat every problem individually - whether it's a home computer or business equipment. I look after not only the repair but the stability and security of your data. Because hardware is meant to work. Not to generate stress and downtime.

  • A reliable diagnosis without guesswork
  • Transparent pricing and clear terms
  • Data security and system stability

Scope

What I repair

I repair Windows computers and laptops, and I know the Apple ecosystem inside out - I work on macOS every day and run the PoProstuMac channel about it. I also help with migrations from Windows to Mac and with setting up new hardware.

  • A slow-running computer or laptop
  • SSD drive swaps and upgrades
  • Virus removal and system cleanup
  • System installation and configuration (Windows, macOS)
  • Problems with networks, printers and devices

Data

Data recovery

Data loss is usually not final - I've completed over 500 successful recoveries: from HDD and SSD drives, USB flash drives and memory cards. Typical scenarios include deleted files, a formatted drive or media that the computer doesn't detect.

The most important rule: when files disappear or the drive starts clicking, slowing down or losing folders - switch the device off and don't save anything to it. Every minute a damaged drive keeps running lowers the chances. Then get in touch: I start with a diagnosis and an honest verdict on what can realistically be recovered.

Overview

The process

  1. 1

    Contact and initial analysis

You describe the problem. We establish the scope and possible courses of action.

  2. 2

    Technical diagnosis

I check the hardware / system / drive. I pinpoint the actual source of the problem.

  3. 3

    Repair or data recovery

I fix the fault, restore the system, recover the files - depending on the situation.

  4. 4

    Testing and device handover

I verify stable operation. You get back a device that's meant to work - not to stress you out.

Gdynia - city centre

Where to find me

Działam w Gdyni - Śródmieście, od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9:00-17:00. Obsługuję klientów z Gdyni, Gdańska, Sopotu, Rumi, Redy i Wejherowa. Spotkanie i przekazanie sprzętu ustalamy zawsze wcześniej - przez formularz albo e-mail; napisz przed przyjazdem, potwierdzę termin i nie stracisz czasu na pusty kurs.

Looking for advisory or training rather than a repair? Check out the technology consulting in the menu - it's a separate service.

B2B

For businesses

I also handle business equipment - from single workstations to help with larger system and network problems. The priority is continuity of work and data security: the fault is to be fixed and the business is to keep running, with no downtime and no risk of losing files.

Frequently asked questions

Can data be recovered from a damaged drive?

Very often, yes - I have over 500 successful recoveries behind me. Before you do anything: turn off the device and don't save anything to it. I describe typical scenarios and the whole process in the "Data recovery" section above; tell me what happened and I'll honestly say what can be saved.

How much does a computer repair cost?

Honestly: I do not know the exact amount until I diagnose the fault. Roughly, a repair starts from 150 zł plus any parts, and an OS installation is 150-250 zł - the full ranges are in the Pricing page. First the diagnosis, then the quote, and the repair only after you accept it. I do not replace parts that work, and I do not add services "along the way".

Do you help with Mac computers?

Yes - the Apple ecosystem is my speciality: I work on macOS every day and run the PoProstuMac channel about Macs and Apple hardware. I handle configuration, system tidying and migrations from Windows to Mac. And of course I also repair Windows computers and laptops.

Where can I find you and during what hours?

In the centre of Gdynia - you'll find the exact address, opening hours and the rules for handing over equipment in the "Where to find me" section above. One piece of practical advice: write BEFORE you come - we'll confirm the time and you'll save yourself a wasted trip.

How long does a repair take?

It depends on the fault and the availability of parts: some problems I solve on the spot, while more serious repairs and data recovery take longer. After the diagnosis you get not only a quote but also a realistic timeframe - so you know where you stand before you make a decision.

Is my data safe during the repair?

Yes - I treat data security as part of the service, not an add-on. I work on your device only to the extent needed for the repair, I don't browse or copy anything beyond the recovery procedure, and after the service your data stays with you alone. I also work with companies where confidentiality is a standard part of the collaboration.

Is your device not working as it should?

Don't wait for the problem to get worse. The sooner you act, the greater the chance of a quick and cheaper repair.
