How much does a website cost in 2026?

Short answer: a company website is usually 1,500-4,500 PLN, an online shop from 4,000 PLN, and a site on my dedicated SaaS application from 2,500 PLN. The spread in those ranges does not come from one contractor being better than another, but from scope: the number of pages, who prepares the content, and how many features the site has to handle.

This is my public price list, not a market average. I would rather give the numbers outright than write "individual quote" and make someone call to find out whether they can afford it.

What the price really depends on

The number of pages and templates

A site with five pages is five times less work than one with twenty - but the count is not the point. What matters is the number of different layouts. Twenty pages built on three templates is cheaper than eight pages that each look different.

Who prepares the content

This is the most consistently underestimated item in any project. If you have the text and photos ready, the build moves quickly. If the text has to be written and the photos taken, that is separate work and separate time. Projects sometimes sit still for three weeks while we wait for service descriptions.

Features

A contact form is standard. But payments, online booking, a calculator, multiple languages, an integration with a warehouse system or a wholesaler - each of those is a separate build and separate testing.

The deadline

Rush work costs, and I say so plainly. If the site has to be live in ten days because a campaign is starting, that means everything else gets pushed out of the queue.

The ranges I quote from

What Price
Website (company site, showcase, portfolio) 1,500 - 4,500 PLN
Online shop (WooCommerce) from 4,000 PLN
NEO site - a dedicated SaaS application, built for AEO from 2,500 PLN
Hosting 250 - 400 PLN / year (first year free with NEO sites)
Technology consultation 150 PLN / hour

The bottom of the range is a simple company site with content ready. The top is a dozen or more pages, content preparation, a photo session and additional features.

Why a "website for 500 PLN" ends up costing more

Nobody will design, write and build a site for 500 PLN - that is a few hours of work at the price of a single day. So what you realistically get is one of three things: a ready-made template filled with your photos and nothing changed, a site made by somebody learning on your project, or a ghost site with nobody around after launch.

The cost turns up later: at the first substantial change, the first outage, and the first question of "why are we not in Google". Taking over sites like that is a large part of my work, and it nearly always ends with the same sentence: it would be cheaper to build from scratch.

That does not mean more expensive always means better. It only means that the price has to be backed by time somebody actually spends on your project.

What you get besides the site itself

  • a configuration built for speed - not an add-on, but the condition for the site making any sense on a phone,
  • the fundamentals of visibility: structure, structured data, a sitemap, submission to search engines, and with NEO sites also preparation for AI answers,
  • a panel for editing text and photos yourself,
  • hosting and a certificate, if you want it all in one place,
  • somebody who answers the phone after launch. That sounds trivial right up until the first outage.

How long it takes

A simple company site: 2-3 weeks once the content is complete. A larger site: 4-8 weeks. A shop: depends on the number of products and integrations. The most common cause of delay is not code but waiting for materials - which is why you get a list of what to prepare at the start.

Want a specific figure instead of a range? Write to me and describe in a few sentences what the site has to do and roughly how many pages it needs. I send a quote within 24 hours, with no meeting and no presentation.

Frequently asked questions

Can a website be built for less than 1,500 PLN? You can buy a template and fill it in yourself. That is a sensible option on a very small budget - provided you have the time and know that nobody will be looking after it.

Which is cheaper: WordPress or a NEO site? The start is often similar (1,500-4,500 PLN versus from 2,500 PLN). The difference shows in maintenance: WordPress needs plugin updates, a NEO site has no such layer. I set this out in the advantages of WordPress.

Do I pay for the design separately? No. The design is part of the quote you receive at the start.

What if I want to change something after a year? You change text and photos yourself in the panel. Larger changes I quote separately, hourly or as a package.

Tell me in two sentences what is going on. I answer personally - and I say plainly whether it can be fixed, or whether another route works out cheaper.
